みなさんこんにちは、みきこです。
今日、8月15日は終戦記念日です。
ですので、いつもの配信日ではないのですがお話ししたくて収録しました。
終戦記念日とは、日本が第二次世界大戦という大きな戦争を終わらせることを決めた日です。
この日は、戦争で亡くなった人たちのことを思い出し、平和について考える日とされています。
日本武道館で、政府主催の「全国戦没者追悼式」が行われます。
そして、国民はそれぞれの場所から1分間黙祷をします。
黙祷とは、無言で心の中で祈ることです。
昔のことですが、終戦記念日に私の父は、会社に日の丸弁当を持って行っていました。
日の丸弁当とは、ご飯の真ん中に梅干しが1つだけ乗っている、とてもシンプルなお弁当のことです。
ご飯が白くて、その上に赤い梅干しが乗っている様子が、日本の国旗「日の丸」に似ていることから、この名前が付けられたそうです。
戦争中は食べ物がとても少なくて、贅沢な食事をすることができませんでした。
そのため、ご飯と梅干しだけのシンプルな日の丸弁当が、当時の人々にとっては普通のお弁当だったようです。
戦争中の人々の苦労や食べ物の大切さを思い出すために、父は日の丸弁当を持っていっていました。
でも、それだけではやっぱり足りないので、日の丸弁当プラスおかずを持っていっていましたけどね・・・
はい、終戦記念日はそれぞれがいろんな形で戦争で亡くなった人たちのことを思い出して、平和を祈ります。
私もここで戦争で亡くなった人たちのことを思い出して、世界平和を祈りたいと思います。
私は職業上、いろんな国の人との繋がりがあります。
そしてこのPodcastでもいろんな国の人と繋がっています。
私自身、文化の違いやいろんな言語を学ぶことが大好きです。
ですので、将来的にこのPodcastで繋がった人たちと交流を楽しめるオンラインコミュニティーも作りたいなと最近は妄想しています。
いろんな国の人が「日本に興味がある！」ということをテーマに集まれたら本当に楽しそう！
さらにそこで繋がった人たちと、何か楽しいイベントができたらいいなと思っています。
このPodcastを作った当初は、こんなにたくさんの人が聞いてくれるなんて思っていなかったので、「日本のことを知ってもらいたい！」という思いだけで発信していました。
でもこれだけたくさんの人たちに聞いてもらえるようになったので、みんなと実際に交流したいなーという思いがどんどん湧き上がってきました！
このPodcastを聞いてくれている皆さん、本当にありがとうございます。
私なりに世界平和を考えながら引き続き活動していきたいと思います。
